Ilocos Region

Ilocos is the Region I of the Philippines, it is located at the Northwestern of Luzon, the people here was known for the name as Ilocanos (Ilokano), who speaks also english and tagalog but their main dialects is Ilocano and Pangasinenese.
Ilocos has four provinces ;Pangasinan, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and San Fernando City La Union also as a Capital City.
Ilocos also have some religious, historical, cultural things that attracts many of the foreigners in the whole world.
Ilocos popular product is tabacco, but because tabacco was already known they have a lot of competition in other province or in the market, so the Ilocanos also grow some fruits,like mangoes,also some vegetables, rice, cotton, sugar cane.Aside from being known as a leading producers of Tabacco, they also know as a producers of eggplant, garlic and peanuts.
They also producing some textiles, ceramics and even jewelries.
In Ilocos you can still see some spanish churches and houses because of Juan Salcedo in year 1572, He is the one who established Spanish rule in Ilocos. There is also some historical place in Ilocos, Beautiful beaches like Pagudpud beach where you can swim and surf.
The Ilocano's favorite food is Pinakbet, well it was also known as a Filipino Favorite Food, it was mixture of different vegetables like eggplants, okra, string beans, ampalaya, winter squash, with pork and bagoong. They also have an Ilokano longganisa (Sausage).
